Ultrasonic Tension Sensors

UTensor

Ultrasonic Tension Sensors are "glue on" ultrasonic sensors that are used in nondestructive measurement of tension in the actual bolted joint. They are bonded to the head of the bolt or stud using adhesives. They act as Transmitter of ultrasonic pulse and receiver of echo from end of the bolt.

Multiuse Ultrasonic Tension Sensor is used for dynamic or static measurement of clamp force when less than 24 hour monitoring of clamp force is required. A weak adhesive is used for bonding to the head of the bolt. UTensor I can be removed by use of shear force.
Supplied in packages of 100

Disposable Ultrasonic Tension Sensor is used for dynamic or static measurement of clamp force when longer period of clamp force monitoring is required. A strong adhesive is used for bonding to the head of the bolt. Small foot print (3mm x 3mm x 0.1 mm Thick) would fit on majority of fasteners.
